Losing your husband is a big smack in the face, even if you saw the hand coming. What I’m trying to say is no matter what, you don’t expect your husband to get up and go one day; however some things you just can’t prevent and this is one of them. Fortunately I am going to reveal some tactics that will teach you “how to get my ex husband back”.
First, start from scratch; if you are constantly calling your ex husband begging, pleading, or anything else of that nature you MUST stop! Your ex husband is only splitting farther and farther apart as you do this – while you think this might be helping by showing him you care, its only distancing him more and getting him annoyed. So stop the excessive calling and let him think, he knows your there, and you better believe that you will be on his mind – let him think.
After a week or so of no contact, write him a formal letter. Let him know that you still want things to work out, but don’t be emotional in the letter. After the letter is done, mail it to him and leave it at that; for weeks remain silent and continue to let him think - then it’s almost time to take action.
By this time a month or so will have passed, it’s now time to call him back and ask him if he would like to have a friendly cup of coffee to catch up and talk about things. You have to keep it casual, or he might be scared off by you trying to move in to quickly.
Take it slow, he’s been with you before and he knows how you act. Getting him to commit to lunch or coffee is a huge step forward. From then on follow your “gut feeling” which will lead you in the right direction and ultimately help you decide if you truly want your ex husband back or not.
